The July release sees two variants of Dario Argento\u2019s follow up to his debut feature, <em>The Bird with the Crystal Plumage<\/em>, <strong>The Cat O\u2019 Nine Tails<\/strong>. This second entry in the so-called \u201cAnimal Trilogy\u201d found Argento further refining his distinctive style and cementing his reputation as the master of the giallo thriller. Co-starring Catherine Spaak (<em>Il Sorpasso<\/em>) and Rada Rassimov (<em>Baron Blood<\/em>), and featuring another nerve-jangling score by the great Ennio Morricone (<em>The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly<\/em>),<strong>\u00a0The Cat O\u2019 Nine Tails<\/strong> remains one of Argento\u2019s most suspenseful and underrated films.
