The acclaimed, surreal documentary The Silence Before Bach comprises a series of filmed vignettes, united by the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Investigating the profound relationship between image and music, Portabella&#8217;s opulent reverie leads us through the centuries led by the hand of J. S. Bach. Mudanza records the removal of furniture and objects from the home and museum of the Garc\u00eda-Lorca family in Granada, leaving visitors able to move freely amongst its empty spaces.
